Watercolour: Sea and Lake Landscape

This course offers you the opportunity to learn several approaches to obtain realistic and lively rendering of lake and seaside landscapes in watercolour, working from photographs or your imagination. You will study the effects of light refraction, waves, rocky bottoms in transparent water, the reflections of silhouetted trees on the water, beaches and seaside cliffs. Learn to simplify the details of a scene and to use atmospheric perspective. Prerequisite: one session of watercolour.
