Studio Rental

The Visual Arts Centre offers short-term studio rentals for personal projects. Our studios are equipped with chairs, tables, stools, easels and a sink. A projection screen is available on request. Unfortunately, most studios are not wheelchair accessible. There is no elevator in the building.

Please note that we do not host independent art exhibitions in our studios.

Prices are offered on a sliding scale (prices do not include taxes):

$100/day for teachers, students, and members of the Visual Arts Centre for personal use
$200/day for artists and OBNL organizations
$100/hour or $600/whole day for for-profit companies

Gallery Rental

The gallery is available outside opening hours as an event venue for off-site meetings, receptions, business launches, and other private and corporate events. The main gallery space (860 ft2) and front vitrine gallery space (600-ft2) can accommodate groups of up to 75 people standing. Rental rates are $200/hr or $800/day (8 hrs).

Please note that we do not host independent art exhibitions through the gallery rental option.

Private workshops

We offer customized art workshops for school, community or corporate groups. They are available in our workshops at the Centre or in your space, depending on your preference. Our teachers adapt to your preferences and choice of medium (watercolour, drawing, painting, etc.).
