The McClure Gallery is a contemporary art venue and one of the three pillars of the Visual Arts Centre (VAC). Along with the VAC’s School of Art and ARTreach, its outreach programme, the McClure Gallery aims to increase awareness of and engagement with art as a form of knowledge, communication and research, and as a tool for better understanding and connecting with our collective and individual experiences. The McClure Gallery accepts proposals for exhibitions in a wide variety of mediums from professional artists and curators, at any point in their career, through its annual call for dossiers. While the gallery mostly serves the Montréal and Quebec visual arts community, it also welcomes submissions from individuals and collectives internationally.
