As part of the Visual Arts Centre’s (VAC) ongoing Ceramic Artist-in-Residency program, artists Céline Huyghebaert and Tamara Rejwan will showcase the results of their residency explorations. The artist-in-residence programme at the Visual Arts Centre (VAC) allows artists to work in a fully-equipped ceramic studio among a community that shares the same passion for clay and its many possibilities. Tamara Rejwan, a long-time student of the centre, explored large-scale ceramic installations, inspired by funghi, while Céline Huyghebaert, translated her photographic installation works onto ceramics, a medium relatively new to her. Their work was overseen by Noémie Sylvestre.
