To Touch It Is To Know It is a collaborative body of work and slow testament to weaving and metalsmithing processes. With their hybrid sculptures, artists Elizabeth Johnson and Anne Dahl explore material translations of our hyper-paced virtual world and the tensions in their nuanced desire to simultaneously understand, employ, and reject technology.

Anne Dahl is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus in metal sculpture and wearable objects. She studied Jewellery Design & Metalsmithing, and Intermedia at NSCAD University and is currently in the MFA Sculpture program at Concordia University. Elizabeth Johnson is a multidisciplinary artist working within the realm of textiles, sculpture and sound. She has a BFA in Intermedia from Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and is a recent MFA graduate at Concordia University in Fibres & Material Practices.
