Catalogue to accompany Susan G. Scott’s exhibition, Les enfants terribles (a painter’s narrative) which toured in several venues across Canada between 2003 and 2005, following the McClure exhibition. Scott, a significant figurative painter in the Montreal community for four decades, created a series of wall drawings as well as impasto paintings of highly charged hues that engaged with the psychlogical mood of Jean Cocteau’s early modernist fable.
