Connected North provides live, interactive virtual learning experiences and access to educational resources for students and teachers in remote communities, supporting them where they live. Through the program, Indigenous students from kindergarten to grade 12 receive unique opportunities to thrive.
The Visual Arts Centre offered eight online acrylic painting workshops for Connected North during the 2023-24 school year and we will continue our collaboration in the future. Two of our Youth teachers engaged and taught in this project during this school year, Stéphanie Morin and Isabelle Bredt, thank you for sharing your passion for art!
