This course addresses the essential concerns of the figure painter, including understanding anatomy and mixing and blending skin tones and brushwork. Specific exercises focusing on observation, geometric shapes and patterns of light and shadow will give you confidence in your creations. You will work with live models during several sessions (may include nude models). Oil or acrylic. Prerequisite: one session of painting.
