About the course

In this acrylic painting course, students will explore the human figure not just as a body, but as a way to tell stories. Through hands-on projects and examples from art history, you’ll learn how to place the figure in different settings and use color, space, and composition to express emotion, identity, or narrative. This class is perfect for those who want to move beyond basic figure drawing and experiment with more personal, meaningful artwork. Some sessions will include work from live models (including nude models). Prerequisites: one painting course.
