About the course

This course will help to develop a strong foundation of painting and drawing skills and techniques through contemporary and popular culture approaches. Students will be introduced to the basics of line, shading, form rendering, perspective, and composition. Working with colour theory and paint application with both imagination and still life. Experimentation with a variety of media will be introduced, including ink, pencil, charcoal, gouache and watercolour. No prerequisite.
