Since August 2023, the Visual Arts Centre (VAC) has welcomed a group of 15 students with special needs from Wagar, the adult education centre. From Monday through Friday, the group spends their day in a dedicated art studio, accessible on the ground floor of the VAC. All art materials are provided by the teacher, who guides the group through experimentation in a diverse range of mediums.
At the end of each school year, they present their work at the McClure Gallery, located on the ground floor of the Centre. The next exhibition will take place in June 2027.
