In this workshop, you will learn the creative process to create an abstract embroidered composition in volumes and textures. We work with a variety of supplies: beads, sequins, flat and tubular ribbons, cords, large threads, fabric scraps, metallic threads. You will learn a multitude of volume stitches: fillings, stems, ribbon folding, garter stitch, couching, application of appliqués, etc., from which you will be able to create textures by choosing your materials, your colour palette, and the application of points.
The loom is loaned for the duration of the course, you can buy it to continue working after the end of the course ($55+tax).
