Contemporary Tapestry Cancelled

This course is an introduction to the expansive possibilities of tapestry weaving as a visual art medium. We will explore various approaches to this weaving technique, inspired by a diverse selection of contemporary tapestry artists. Students will be guided to experiment with colour, pattern, texture, imagery, and the sculptural potential of tapestry. Throughout, you will receive individual guidance towards creating your own personal woven project. Creative finishing and display methods will also be discussed, to take your artwork all the way from idea to presentation. For all levels.
