About the course

This four-week class guides students through an in-depth exploration of drypoint and intaglio techniques, such as à la poupée, chine collé, surface rolls and printing in multiple layers. Students will learn how to tear paper, prepare an intaglio matrix, work with a drypoint needle to make marks on its surface, and pull colour prints through various colour printing methods. No prerequisite.
