An introduction to the art of portraiture for students with basic drawing experience. Face and head studies help students develop skills in realistic drawing based on pictures, live models (models will not be nude) and self-portrait. Expressive and imaginative approaches to the portrait are also explored. Pencil, charcoal, and ink. Prerequisite: one session of drawing.
