About the course
Like a Renaissance artist, in this workshop you will be invited to model a life-size hand. Step by step you will learn how to sculpt this part of the body directly in a block of clay. You will discover how to translate gesture into emotion, and familiarise yourself with the organic qualities of clay. The sculpture can then be fired and glazed at the Visual Arts Center. Prerequisite: Intermediate or experience working with clay.
