About the course
Learn traditional and creative techniques for turning paper into thread. Discover Mylène Boisvert’s approach to various methods of spinning paper: one by hand, without tools and the second inspired by a Japanese technique requiring the use of a spindle. Explorations will include various Japanese and other natural fibre papers. You will leave with a variety of handmade threads to be incorporated into your own artwork. No prerequisite.
