*NEW* This two-day intensive course focuses on developing a strong, cohesive artist portfolio. Participants will learn how to present a body of work in a way that clearly communicates their artistic research, themes, and individual concerns. Whether you are preparing a portfolio for a grant application, exhibition, or art school submission, this course emphasizes the importance of making a compelling first impression on a selection or judging panel. Throughout the workshop, each participant will receive individualized feedback as we review and refine their portfolio. Together, we will curate a selection of works that highlights strengths, ensures cohesion, and establishes a clear conceptual thread. Attention will also be given to the quality of documentation, including photographs of finished pieces and process work. By engaging with both their own work and that of their peers, participants will develop critical skills and a deeper understanding of how to evaluate and present artistic practice effectively. No prerequisite.
