About the course
*NEW* Join us for a two-day outdoor sketching experience where you will draw and shape your personal vision of place—exploring architecture, nature, and the many details of the rich environment surrounding the Visual Arts Centre. This workshop invites you to slow down and observe, capturing the energy of the present moment and the expressiveness of form, light, and space through the intimate and versatile medium of the sketchbook. You will be introduced to key artistic and technical concepts, along with material suggestions, before moving into structured exercises and culminating in free personal exploration. Classes are held outdoors whenever possible, allowing you to draw directly from life and immerse yourself in the surroundings. In case of unsuitable weather, sessions will be adapted accordingly. No prerequisite.
