Washi Collage

In the spirit of discovery and spontaneity, you will cut, tear, crumple and paint pieces of Washi (Japanese paper) to build several works of collage. Each class will focus on different types of Washi, from very thin and translucent to thick and textured. The emphasis will be on asymmetrical formats, beginning with miniatures and progressing to larger pieces over the six-week course. No prerequisite.
