About the course
In this course you will learn to capture the ambiance and essence of urban life, it’s structures and rhythm. You will start with large colour field washes, and finish with the architectural details. The emphasis will be on colour, lively brushstrokes and impressions of depth. A selection of photos (provided, or your own), watercolour sketches and demonstrations will help you simplify and properly prepare a composition to paint. Prerequisite: one session of watercolour.
