Eleonore Goldberg is a Franco-Canadian animation filmmaker, author and cartoonist. Born in France, she lives in Quebec. After studying Visual Arts, Eleonore turned to Animation Cinema. She holds a BFA in Animation Cinema and a MFA in Film Production (Concordia University).
She publishes her graphic novels with collectives since 2006, and she also teachs drawing, illustration and animation since 2013. She illustrated the graphic novel La demoiselle en blanc (2016, Éditions Mécanique générale), and she wrote the novel Maisons fauves (2019, Éditions Triptyque).
Her animated short-films are screened in international festivals. The animated short-film Wandering was nominated at the Gala du cinéma québécois in 2014. In 2017, Éléonore completed My Yiddish Papi, with Picbois Productions and the National Film Board of Canada.
Eleonore also collaborated on several features-lengh films, such as Wall, The Wandering Muse, Ville Neuve and On My Mother’s Side.
