Filiz Yildiz began her career while living in Istanbul,Turkey. Drawn to ancient jewellery techniques she began taking classes focusing on small scale wax sculpture and then further exploring traditional silver smithing techniques. She combines these methods to create bold, empowering pieces that test the boundaries between jewellery and sculpture while constantly exploring new ways of creating, using wax as her medium.
