Francis Macchiagodena is a visual artist based in Tiohtá:ke/Montreal, Canada. He holds a BFA and MFA in Studio Arts, Photography, from Concordia University (2020). He has exhibited his work in institutions including art galleries, contemporary art fairs, and cultural centres since 2016. His practice is imbued with a questioning of the thresholds in our surrounding space. Through photography, he explores abstraction and its relationship to materiality and the human senses, offering a reverence for the metaphysical and the bodily.
