Guylaine Chevarie-Lessard lives and works in Montreal. She completed her doctorate in art studies and practices at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2015 and received her bachelor’s degree in visual arts at Concordia University (2009) after she was awarded the Guido Molinari Prize in Studio Arts. She also obtained a master’s degree in art philosophy (UQAM, 2001). She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Quebec and in Canada as well. Her practice questions the relationship between pictorial work and writing.
