Maude Deslauriers

Maude Deslauriers is an artist working with painting and drawing. Her recent work explores the abstract notion of form as a link between the natural world, the body and consciousness. Through revisions of botany, anatomy, philosophy and mythology, a reflection of the creative process is observed in the autopoiesis of nature’s own growth. Deslauriers lives and works in Montreal, where she completed her MFA at Concordia University.
