Tristan Tondino

Tristan Tondino hails from a family of artists, where his passion for art began to sprout at the age of 3 within the confines of his father’s studio. He received his first drawing and painting lessons at the School of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, taught by Arthur Lismer, one of the founding members of the Group of Seven. He has brilliantly applied his talent in the fields of theater and cinema (among other projects, he served as one of the artistic directors for the series The Last of Us and the feature film The Naughty 9) while continuing his career as a painter.

Fascinated by color, perspective, abstraction, and classicism, Tristan has never adhered to a trend but instead forged his own path, constantly redefining himself. He celebrates the beauty of our world, and the extraordinary human achievements; he creates lyrical works that skillfully exploit light, serving as a particularly poignant message of optimism in a time. His works have been exhibited in numerous Montreal galleries, including Galerie Michel-Ange, Galerie Dominion, Galerie Kastel, and Galerie Campbell, as well as in Ontario, the United States, Mexico, and Italy.
