Naghmeh Sharifi

Multidisciplinary artist exploring drawing, painting and sculpture, Naghmeh Sharifi of Iranian origin, lives and works in Montreal since 2009. Having exhibited around the world and in the metropolis, she bases her practice on her deep interest in the psychology of the body as a place of memory and an envelope of presence in the world in all its fragility. As an art educator, she has taught at Concordia University, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and various community centers. She has a unique approach to sharing her experiences with those who are passionate about art, regardless of age, level or origin.
