Emerging multimedia artist Emery Vanderburgh uses animation, 3d modelling, photography, sculpture and video to create multi-sensory installations that explore the pathologization of difference. The gallery becomes a participatory space that reproduces the space inhabited by people with disabilities. Visual, aural and tactile elements reveal parallels between human and non-human variance and invite visitors to reimagine disability as a precious form of biodiversity.
