About the course

Explore the techniques of Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Vermeer, Poussin, and Velázquez. Learn how they used light, color, and composition to create drama and emotion, and apply these timeless methods to your own art. Prerequisites: one painting class.

There will be a visit to the Montreal Museum of Fine Art to study artworks and sketches. The price of a ticket to the museum is not included. Students must purchase their own ticket.
