About the course

This workshop is an introduction to spinning wool yarn with minimal equipment. You will learn to prepare the wool with hand carders, spin with a drop spindle and ply the singles. We will talk about colour mixing, sheep varieties and sources as well as looking to artists working with hand-spun yarns. No prerequisite.
