About the course

Watercolor is a natural medium for practising expressive portraits.The mood and personality of our subject is revealed through the fluidity of water using the wet-on-wet technique, playing between drawing and watercolour as well as dry brush techniques, the choice of colours, the scale and background. The workshop includes studying facial expression and working from a model. Prerequisite: a watercolour and a portrait course.
