About the course
In this workshop, learn how to work with the medium of watercolour to translate the human form onto paper: movement, structure, proportion, tone, and colour. We will experiment with wet-on-wet sketches, building layers from transparency, and washes. We will work with watercolour palettes to achieve luminous flesh tones and rich shadows. Participants are encouraged to find their own style and develop their drawing through inspiration from a live model (may include a nude model). Prerequisites: one watercolour course.
