"What is the role of the artist in perilous times?"
Join us for a talk with artst and VAC teacher, Pat Walsh. When one of many refugees crossing into Canada from the US became lost on Pat’s farm last winter, the dramatic search and rescue operation left an indelible impression on her. Pat will show photographs of the event, and of the artwork that was generated from this experience. A discussion on the role of the artist in these times will follow the slide show.
