A tradition for over 50 years, the VAC’s annual student exhibition celebrates the talents of our students and the diversity of artistic production at the VAC’s School of Art. Over 100 artworks in a wide variety of mediums will be presented in the McClure Gallery, showcasing the work of students registered in VAC’s Winter 2026 session. Many of the artworks will be offered for sale, giving visitors a chance to acquire an original artwork at a budget-friendly price, and support an emerging Montreal artist!
Please join us on Saturday, May 2nd 2026, for an in-person ‘Art Hive’ with McClure Gallery co-coordinator Louise Campion, where various speedy and fun drawing exercises will be explored with the objective of discovering a life drawing methodology rooted in inclusion and intuition. Art Hives are free, drop-in mini-workshops where everyone is welcomed as an artist—no previous art-making experience is required. Just come with your curiosity, and we will provide the rest. And don’t miss the vernissage on April 16th, always the best party of the year at VAC!
