Joséane Brunelle

Joséane Brunelle began her career in the 1980s in set design, working in theater and film while pursuing her passion for painting. Her works can be found in Canada, Italy, the United States, and New Zealand, and she has exhibited in Quebec, Italy, and Mexico. Always dedicated to her craft, she has continuously refined her artistic skills. In the 1990s, she also taught scenic painting at Concordia University.

In parallel, she explored screenwriting and filmmaking, producing several short films selected for festivals. In 2016, she co-founded Les images de la Liberté / Lady Liberty Pictures Inc., publishing illustrated books and developing multidisciplinary artistic projects, including an animation inspired by her works.

I love teaching art because it allows me to share my passion while continuing to grow. I learn a lot from my students, and these exchanges of ideas enrich my own artistic journey.
